Fill a Word document
Upload a Word form template, fill in the detected fields, and download the completed DOCX.
Your file is never uploaded — no account, no server round trip.
How it works
- 1.Choose a .docx template with merge tokens, content controls, or labeled blanks.
- 2.FillOnce reads the fields in your browser and shows them as a form.
- 3.Type in your answers.
- 4.Download the filled DOCX — nothing was ever uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Does this upload my Word document anywhere?
No. The DOCX is read, filled, and re-saved entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
What kind of Word document does this work with?
A .docx template that uses merge tokens like {{Name}}, Word content controls, checkboxes, or clearly labeled blanks ("Name: ____"). Plain prose documents with no fields to fill won't have anything for this tool to detect.
What about legacy .doc files?
Not supported — re-save as .docx in Word and upload again.
