Frequently asked questions
Does FillOnce submit forms for me?
No. FillOnce fills the fields and stops, so you can review everything and submit yourself. It never auto-submits a form.
Do I have to type all my information in first?
No. In Forms, choose “I have a filled form to save from,” upload a fillable PDF, Word document, or Excel intake sheet you've already filled out, and FillOnce saves matching details under People. Then upload a blank form to autofill. Scanned image uploads are best-effort.
Is my data sent to AI?
No. Matching runs on our own systems, never a third-party AI. Form field labels reach our servers so we can match them; your saved details stay encrypted, so we can't read them. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how files are processed.
What forms does it work on?
In the app: fillable PDFs (AcroForm), Word (.docx) with merge tokens, content controls, labeled blanks, slash-list rows, legacy form fields, and checkboxes, and Excel (.xlsx) label/value intake sheets. Flat PDFs are beta; image uploads use browser OCR best-effort. Standards-based HTML web forms use the Chrome extension (beta, not on the Chrome Web Store yet; developer sideload only). We do not claim every document or every webpage.
Why not every form on the internet?
Autofill needs labels or widgets we can find. Most camp, school, rental, and intake PDFs/Word sheets have those. Closed custom widgets, cross-origin embeds, and handwritten-only scans often do not, so we detect what we can, show honest gaps, and never auto-submit.
How is my data protected?
Vault values are encrypted with a key only you hold (zero-knowledge) once your vault is set up, we can't read them. Document files are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and isolated per account. See the security page for details.

Yes. Free includes 2 person profiles, 5 stored documents, and 3 document exports per month. Web-form autofill uses the Chrome extension (beta, not on the Chrome Web Store yet; developer sideload only). Pro adds unlimited documents and exports, supported file conversions, and stamping your saved signature on export (same 2 person profiles). Family adds up to 6 household profiles.
